Conditional Registration
Conditional Registration is open to all members of the Monaro Car Club of SA provided that a set criteria is met. These are set by the Federation of Historic Motoring Clubs SA Inc (follow the link to read about the recent changes).
Conditional Registration is available to financial club members only. If your membership is not current, the Registrar of Motor Vehicles is notified and your registration cancelled.
Conditional Registration is currently only available for vehicles 25 years or older (eg: HK-HZ Monaros are eligible but not V2-VZ as yet)
When first placing a vehicle in your name on Conditional Registration you will need to get a MR334 Form from a Conditional Registration Officer. (signed in duplicate, this cannot be posted)
Payments for the Conditional Registration product are made from the Website Online Shop (as this is in addition to your club membership fee).
The required payment to the Monaro Car Club is $20 per vehicle per year.
You can not pay for longer than your existing club membership period.
You can not pay for more years than available in your log book, which is a maximum of 3 years.
(ie: if your log book has 2 years left un-stamped, you cannot pay for 3 years)
You can not have more than one log book for a vehicle.
Log books are non-transferable between members (at the sale of the car) and not transferable between clubs.
Old log books are to be cancelled and a new one issued.
Conditional Registration and log book are for a financial year (1st July to 30th June) while your vehicle registration with Service SA may not be.
You must also register your vehicle (as being on Conditional Registration) with Service SA.
This is initiated with the MR334 Form, and Service SA send you renewals for this as normal but remember - you must also be a financial member of a club with an in-date stamped logbook.
You must fill out one line in your log book each day you drive your vehicle (include the year in the date)
It is one line per day, and it does not matter who the driver is or how many times that day. Each driver must initial (leave room). Place the farthest suburb that you are travelling to in the trip description.

Yearly Administration Fees:
New Member Vehicle: $20 Administration, Paperwork & log book
Existing Member Vehicle: $20 Administration, Paperwork & log book
Renewal Vehicle: $20 Administration & log book stamping (replacement log book required after 3 Years)
*** A member must remain financial with The Monaro Car Club of S.A. Inc or Conditional Registration will be revoked.
Cars no longer need to be inspected before the log book is re-stamped, but the log book must be re-stamped annually and the appropriate fee paid.
